Mascot Performer

The Mascot Performer is responsible for acting and performing as the various Hasbro characters promoting the Mall’s different attractions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Performing in the capacity of mascots, representing Hasbro at Galaxyland, mall events and promotions as well as various community events.
• Acting in line with the pre-determined personalities of different Hasbro characters
• As a mascot, working with the interpreters as an interactive, mobile form of entertainment.
• Interacting with, providing autographs to and taking pictures with guests, including children.
• Being mindful of guests’ reactions to the mascots and responding in-character accordingly.
• Following character training guidelines at all times.

Desired Qualifications:

• Applicants must enjoy working with the public, require minimal supervision, and possess the ability to be energetic throughout the performance.
• Applicants are recommended to be between 5’3” and 5’10” in height, in order to comfortably fit into all costumes according to Hasbro and WEM standards.
• Ability to stand, walk, bench and crouch for long periods of time in-costume.
• Observing a high standard of personal cleanliness and hygiene.
• Previous experience entertaining children is a definite asset.
• Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.

Terms of Employment:

• This is a part-time position that requires flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.
