The Guest Services Bellman will have the responsibility of creating and presenting a positive and professional first impression to the guests and visitors of the world-famous Fantasyland Hotel by anticipating guest’s needs and exceeding their expectations.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Providing great customer service and greeting all customers in a friendly and professional manner. Offering luggage assistance to all guests as well as ensures luggage is properly tagged.
  • Handling and addressing all customer inquiries, complaints, and suggestions.
  • Maintaining and cleaning the entrance and lobby to uphold appearance.
  • Acknowledging and approaching all vehicles to immediately assist guests.
  • Parking and retrieving vehicles when requested by Fantasyland Hotel Guests in a timely and safe manner.
  • Securing all luggage, keys, and property of guests and safely assist guests with delivery of luggage to proper Hotel rooms.
  • Providing information regarding Fantasyland Hotel, West Edmonton Mall Inn, West Edmonton Mall’s attractions and stores, and the sights and activities of the City of Edmonton.
  • Other responsibilities as required.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs without difficulty.
  • Must be able to stand for full shifts on feet.
  • Ability to drive both standard and automatic vehicles.
  • Must have a class 5 Alberta driving license with a clear abstract.
  • Be able to provide excellent customer service and express knowledge of West Edmonton Mall, Fantasyland Hotel, and Edmonton area to immediately assist in Customer inquiries.
  • Neat, well-groomed and professional with a positive, friendly attitude.
Terms of Employment:
  • This is a full-time position that requires flexible availability Monday through Sunday including days, evenings, weekends, holidays and night shifts.
  • Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.
